I was on that ish
for about a minute
soothed by a sweet seduction from brown lips
sincere sounding tones that resonated in the deep recesses of my being
I took a leap into the abyss without seeing

I mean it was really about as relevant as Zamfir master of the pan flute
but I thought it was deep
I allowed this thing that should not have been
to seep down into the core of me
making a virtual whore of me

Mission accomplished

Yeah, I was on that ish
for about a minute
then I was shaken awake out of a dream state
I was ripe to be picked on
let the hell hounds loose
I was sicked on

But it spawned a sweet desperation for the real
I had to look beyond how flesh feels
heart feels
heart lies
tells me that my bitter existence will result
in a resolution
hence this reeling from the feeling that I can't shake him
and thus my only solution is to run

Mission accomplished

So I run but not away but to my Father's throne
In HIM I find my comfort
In HIM I find my home

Yeah, I got duped
I thought that brotha was mine
I thought he was fine
but I'm glad I didn't get played like a concubine...again

I thought I was a woman to wife but I got scammed not once...
but twice!

Ha!

Mission accomplished

Back to reality of a single bed
No wedding
No future with him
that dream is dead

My Father will provide
and I realize that I am the daughter of The King
and HIS mark on me yields more authority than a ring
HE removes my reproach and HE hides me for that one
that special son
who also bares HIS mark

Yeah, I was truly on that ish
for about a minute
but I wised up after I learned
You play with fire you get burned.
I can only be who YAH made me and when the time
is right my Boaz will come forth to claim me
until then I shall remain hidden
a treasure to be discovered and for the right man to open.

I need prayer
and a net to catch me
I need someone to fetch me
a bottle
of moscato
and another of that sweet red that goes to my head
it brings on sweet sleep
so that I can go to bed

YAHUAH, help me!
That I may repent and see that all my joy is in YOUR strength

and waste it all on a promise and a dream that wasn't
what it seemed

Because I birthed these verses from pain.
It causes me to think so that I don't go insane.
The one I thought I loved and thought loved me
has become the bane of my existence
but my worth is found in Thee!

So I praise The Most High but still I ask why?
"Why was I so stupid?"
I fell for the okie doke and
watched everything go up in smoke...and mirrors
but YAH calls me nearer to a closer walk with HIM

I am committed to HIS anointed Ha Mashyach and HIS qodesh Shem.

Stick a fork in me

And I aint checking for them that say they know YOU, YAH

Otherwise they wouldn't treat your daughters like some common heifer, YAH!

Several Reasons to Live a Successfully Chaste Life

The weight of being a single parent can be quite a heavy load to carry.  The world and those who are carnally minded would have you believe that it is somehow excusable and justified to have a sexual arrangement of some kind to relieve stress and to supposedly help with a myriad of issues from loneliness to acne. Such arrangements are not an option for the Israelite. I am aware that there is doctrine circulating that states that as long as you are monogamously, sexually involved with a person of the opposite sex (of course) that intercourse in an of itself makes you married to that person. However the marriage covenant is deeper than sexual intercourse and should be respected as such. Chastity is by no means an easy thing to accomplish as it requires both physical and mental refraining from indulging in matters of a sexual nature and short of adoption, if you conceived your children via sexual intercourse and now find yourself without a mate, keeping your ear-gates, eye-gates and mind clear of sexual thoughts and activities is a sometimes seemingly impossible feat. Babylon's oversexed philosophies and habits always seem to make their way inside of our homes, whether it is via media or your children's exposure to the outside world. But, to quote my favorite Scripture, Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life (Proverbs 4:23). There are many, many reasons to remain chaste as a single person in this wicked age and the reasons to be chaste as a single parent are actually compounded. So from one single parent to another here are at least 7 reasons to remain chaste:

1. If no one else seems to know that you creeping and gettin' it on, trust and believe The Most High knows and HE is NOT happy with you or your sin. Is getting broke off more important than your halakah? Seriously? You'd risk eternal damnation and being at odds with The Most High over a piece of tail? If so, your priorities are way out of wack and you may be able to perpetuate the ruse for a while but trust me when I tell you, you'll get all the rope you need to hang yourself.

2. Ducking and dodging your children or putting them off on "babysitters" to rendevous with a lover is not a good look. In fact, it is super trife! Not to mention bringing mr. or ms. so-in-so or fake "uncles" and "aunts" around your kids for your sexual escapades is setting a HORRIBLE example for your children. How do you expect your children to have a healthy concept of the marriage covenant including sex inside of marriage if you are creeping? Also understand that your children are not stupid, in fact most children who are being raised in Torah are actually quite perceptive and intuitive. So if you think you're being slick, trust me, you're not! That chicken will come back home to roost on you one day and when it does you will have to eat the fruit of your deception. That could be why your child is acting out. You are teaching them one thing and living another and not even your babies think that's cool!

3. The obvious to a single parent...a baby out of wedlock! Duh! Even if you are a single parent due to divorce or loss of a spouse in death, the last thing you need is another child conceived outside of a marriage covenant! And for those already single parents because of bad choices and decisions made in our pasts, come on now... you already know! Dads: Aren't you tired of paying out child support and not having your babies under one roof? Moms: Aren't you already weighted down enough with the child(ren) you already have? Let's not be animalistic and think with our genitalia. There are very real consequences to sex outside of covenant. The child produced maybe a blessing but the drama that ensues not to mention the confusion among your other children is simply unnecessary. It can also wreck your finances and compromise any respect that those who thought you were an upright Israelite might have for you. By the way, that includes the respect of your children! And sacrificing children to Molech (abortion) is only compounding your troubles and giving the enemy more ammunition to totally destroy you and your family in every respect. Even if no one else finds out, you'll always be haunted with the memory of that child.

4. Sex outside of covenant leaves you vulnerable to demonic possession. There is a reason why witches, etc engage in what's known as sex magic rituals. Sex outside of covenant perpetuates a oneness with unclean spirits and is even said to open up portals in the spirit realm for demonic spirits to enter. You may think you know EVERYTHING about your sex buddy/partner/hook up/fwb but know this, if you are not in a set apart marriage covenant and that person has the ability to lay with this one and that one then you are by proxy laying with this one and that one as well! Which is not only nasty but spiritually careless! When you have sex, your physical and spiritual man is involved in that act and you may be able to keep the physical man from becoming infected with disease but your spirit man is going to be attacked and assaulted by whatever foul spirit your lover has passed onto you via the act of intercourse. This is how people end up indulging spirits of perversion and even sexual abominations before they even realize just how far they have slipped and fallen away.

5. STDs!!!! Why would you ever risk your life and health for sex? If you are doing so, this is symptomatic of a greater problem that you need YAH to deliver you from before you truly self-destruct! There are MANY, MANY STDs (Sexually Transmitted Diseases). Some will maim and disfigure you, some will take away your fertility while others will sentence you to a slow and painful demise. Some of the STDs that we know of have actually mutated and have become resistant to antibiotics and other treatments. Hepatitis B, genital herpes, Human Papilloma Virus (HPV), and the Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV) and AIDS are just a few of the incurable STDs but in recent years there have been STD hybrids and strains; combinations of HIV and gonorrhea; chlamydia and gonorrhea and even a strain of gonorrhea called "super gonorrhea" which is antibiotic resistant. Also consider that there are some people who know that they are infected with such diseases but don't mind "sharing". Misery loves company not you! And if you think you are cool because you only indulge in oral sex, think again! Certain brain cancers, oral and throat cancers have been linked to oral copulation via the spread of the Human Papilloma Virus. There is no such thing as "safe sex" either. Condoms are not a "fail safe" method as this wicked culture would have you believe in fact HPV is still commonly spread among condom users and many people actually have latex allergies which only complicates matters. 6. The hypocrisy of sex outside of the marriage covenant. For an Israelite, who says that they are walking in truth to willingly violate YAHUAH's commandments and willingly yield the temple of their body to a sexual act is actually setting yourself up for a seared conscience and a reprobate mind. Because it's not that you don't know, it's that you don't care enough to yield the whole of your life as worship unto The Most High and that includes your body! Your very existence is for HIS pleasure and HIS pleasure alone so if you choose to violate that fact and trespass The Law, all the Truth you know for a few minutes of pleasure then YHUH is not the priority in your life that you publicly profess. Your body is meant to be the Temple of the Ruach haQodesh how do you then justify a union with some chick or dude who doesn't even think enough of you to be married to you and probably doesn't even serve the same ALAHYM that you serve. They could care less about YAHUAH's Word and you allow them to trample HIS temple and seduce you into the same diabolical and lascivious behavior against The Most High and HIS kingdom. Where is your loyalty? And even if you are having the thoughts and refuse to bring them captive, you are setting yourself up to bring those thoughts into fruition. And for what? It's all leading to death!

7. Soul ties, the unholy kind...
As I have mentioned in the other points, you are making yourself physically and spiritually vulnerable to a person who obviously has no respect for you, your children or The Most High whom you claim to love and serve. Soul ties of this kind are so destructive and deceptive as they compel you to feel as if you truly love this person and this person loves you. It's only the chemical result of a sexual union that should've never taken place! But it is also the spiritual fruit of a sexual union that violates Torah and your relationship with YHUH, Most High. Soul ties take so much time and energy to shake and be delivered from and they can erroneously alter the course of your life because it feels like love, real love! So you end up romanticizing an aberrant relationship that is nothing more than an act of rebellion against YHUH. The soul tie leads to idolatry as you will apprise your relationship with your sex partner over your relationship with YHUH you may even succeed in luring or being lured into marriage with this person in an attempt to legitimize something warped and perverted from the jump and then be left to wonder why it didn't work. Sadly enough, if it is The Most High's will for you to marry, you could miss out on the right one because you are emotionally tethered to the wrong one. The right one will come along and because he or she doesn't possess that certain something that caused you to idolize your soul tie, you'll reject them because your heart and soul has deceived you into believing that the soul tie is your "soulmate" or "one true love" and that no one else is good enough for you but them! How sad! There is nothing more dangerous than a person who is self-deceived. 


If you ain't know, sex ain't nothing to play with and neither is YAH, Almighty! If any of this is you, then you truly need to REPENT so that you can be delivered, healed and truly transformed by the renewing of your mind. You need to come out of the Babylonian concept of love and marriage that often leads to the sexual trespass of fornication and whoredom. Babylon teaches that you only need to "be in love" with someone to have sex with them and if you can't be with the one you love, "love the one you're with".  This kind of mindset is against Torah and will set you up for seeking and accepting rebellion in your own life. If you are even indulging in pornography and/or masterbation, you have a spirit of perversion and you need to REPENT, be healed and delivered as sex with one's own self is not anything but yielding the members of your body for an unclean, sexual act that seems harmless but will only manifest in immense spiritual degradation.  YHUH deserves and desires a clean and qodesh temple, why would you try to give HIM anything less? Seek YHUH and HIS divine will for your life as HE is the only One who can satisfy well beyond a few minutes and into an entire lifetime, if you will allow HIM to. HE knows what we need and when we need it but if you are still trying to pacify flesh, how will you truly know what you need enough to accept and receive your blessing. You have been called into The Truth for a reason and ha Shatan hates it and would love nothing more than to destroy you by distorting your perception of The Truth and reality. The reality is, when you willingly sin against YHUH, life will not be a pleasant place for you, in fact it can become hell on earth! If YAHUSHA came to give us life and that more abundantly then why would you dare settle for junk? If you are a child of The Most High, then it's time to live like it and that includes guarding against carnal influences of every kind and that may include separating from friends who are perpetrating a fraud themselves to refraining from the consumption of various forms of media (movies, music, tv, internet, etc.) that may arouse emotions and validate mindsets that are inconsistent with Torah. It is also important to realize that most mainstream media is commonly laced with sexual subliminals to purposely arouse a person sexually without them realizing that the media was responsible for the arousal. YHUH wants you to know HIM better but you can't get to HIM for the lust in your heart. Finally, as parents we are stewards and guardians of our children's hearts and minds and when we so blatantly allow flesh to rule us so that we compromise our witness and our example to them and the world at large then we should expect the repercussions to be severe! Let our passion be for YHUH and HIM alone so that HE can fulfill us in every way that matters to The Kingdom and for all eternity! HalaluYAH!!!

How To Raise Warriors

Our children are our legacy and are a testament of how we live by example. They are precious souls that are only ours from the standpoint of stewardship and we only have them in our care for a short time so we have to make the most of the time that we have to be their parents. We do not by any means own them but we are responsible for them and will be held accountable to Yahuweh for how we raise them. This is the primary reason why we cannot afford to ignore the time in which we live and are raising our children! We must redeem the time! Things are very different than they were more than 30 years ago when I was my children's age. And just in case no one told you or you've been in denial, we are the last generation and Yahshua is very soon to return. So between now and the time that He returns to claim all that is His, it is absolutely imperative that parents who are Believers realize that they have the distinct and very crucial assignment to indoctrinate by precept and example the children that Yahuweh has entrusted to us. We cannot afford to raise weak, inconsistent, cowardly, mealy-mouthed individuals who will easily fall prey to the deceptive wiles of this world! 

Acts 17:30-31 says, "Truly, then, having overlooked these times of ignorance, Elohim now commands all men everywhere to repent, because He has appointed a day on which He is going to judge the world in righteousness by a Man whom He has appointed, having given proof of this to all by raising Him from the dead." Yahuweh is requiring of this current generation a greater knowledge of His Word and a more intimate relationship with Him. We cannot afford to have our children seduced away from their calling and inheritance in Yahshua of being ambassadors, kings and priests on the earth because we are too preoccupied with the things of this world. We MUST raise warriors who have a ready knowledge of Scripture and are able to stamp out territory for Yahuweh, Most High! That means that we MUST proactively indoctrinate our children beyond the realm of "Sunday school" or "children's church". Every single day, we MUST make the asserted effort to see to it that our children have their identity and reality rooted and grounded in Yahshua so that they will gladly assume their positions as ambassadors, kings, priests and warriors of the Kingdom of Yahuweh, El Elyon. Warriors must be trained and their gifts developed and honed in order to be used as lethal weapons to successfully destroy and drive out the enemy. We cannot afford to admire or idolize pop culture in any respect and we cannot afford to send the covert message to our children that our faith is wrapped up in Sabbath observance alone. Either one of these insidious habits borne of complacency and apathy will undermine and devalue the importance of being Holy and set apart; in the world but not of it!

There are seven things that EVERY parent who is a Believer in Yahshua should do to raise Ruach filled warriors:

1. Be consistent in your own relationship with Yahshua! Children mimic and emulate what they see. So it is imperative that you are walking out the Commandments and living a consistently clean and Holy life. That doesn't mean that you are perfect and you are not expected to be perfect but you are expected to be Holy. You are then given the sobering task of introspection, examining yourself so that you can call your children to account for their inconsistencies and sin without disqualifying yourself!
2. Don't hide your light under a bushel! Your children need to hear you singing praises to Yahuweh; see you worshiping Him, praying to Him and honoring Him with your life. They NEED to see you yielding your whole life to Him faithfully as an act of worship! Pray with your children, read Scripture to your children, do devotions with your children. Your children NEED to hear you praying for them and they NEED you to teach them how to pray. Ask them about their day and tell them how they can apply Scriptural principles to everyday life and situations that they face.
3. Watch who you associate with and be very mindful of who your children associate with in church, school and other activities! It does no good to raise your children to love Yahuweh when their social circles are saturated with people who don't value salvation and an intimate relationship with Yahshua. You can't isolate them and raise them in a bubble but you do need to cut off associations and influences that undermine your raising children who are kingdom warriors and who understand who they are as kingdom warriors.
4. Turn off the TV and fast from social media! Some of the absolute worst influences and attacks on your home come from pop culture via television, movies, books, social media, and music. PLEASE do not make the mistake that so many parents have made by underestimating the power of these mediums to undermine how you raise your children! The TV should not be your child's babysitter! Pop culture idolatry should not be apart of your home's culture! If the music and books that your child listens to and reads is not glorifying of Yahshua and edifying to them spiritually, then you should probably re-evaluate everything that comes into your home and reprogram your children to listen to music and read books that are edifying to them as well as glorifying Messiah. Why would you accept anything less? Joshua 24:15-16 says, "But if you refuse to serve Yahuweh, then choose today whom you will serve. Would you prefer the gods your ancestors served beyond Euphrates? Or will it be the gods of the Amorites in whose land you now live? But as for me and my family, we will serve Yahuweh. The people replied, "We would never abandon Yahuweh and serve other gods." Proverbs 4:23 tells us, "Guard your heart above all else, for it determines the course of your life." Don't let the standards of this wicked, carnal, temporal culture captivate the hearts and minds of your children and determine the course of your children's lives only to ultimately make them enemies of Yahuweh! Yes, it is THAT serious! It is NOT just music; just a movie; just a book! Many books, movies and music aimed at your children are meant to indoctrinate them towards that very real satanic world system of these last days! Why set them up to be fodder for satan? It is your duty as a parent to protect your children, physically, emotionally and spiritually! Failure to do so will result in your being held accountable for what your children fall prey to! You won't be responsible for every mistake that they will ever make but trust me, you would much rather err on the side of caution and use wisdom borne of the Ruach, who will lead you into ALL truth so that you can have your entire household under the covering of the Ruach haQodesh, than to be too permissive as most parents these days are, and leave your family open for disaster.
5.  Don't be afraid to learn from your children and admit when you are wrong! Most Believers make the tragic mistake of portraying a phony alter-ego of perfection to their children. Not understanding that their children need a REAL parent not a perfect parent! It's okay if you flub up every now and again, just make sure that you see things for what they really are and can humble yourself repent to Yahuweh and apologize to your children especially when your mistakes and missteps have a direct effect on them! And please don't make the mistake of being too obtuse or protective of your role as parent to learn from your children. Be open to learning from your children as well as teaching your children. Many times our children carry in them a very wise and honest perspective of situations that can prove to be wise counsel for us to accept. Often times Yahuweh will even use our children to show us ourselves, so you'd do well to pay attention!
6. Have fun with your children! Your children NEED to see you living a joyous life in Yahuweh! While we should definitely take our callings as ambassadors, kings, priests and warriors quite seriously, we shouldn't take ourselves too seriously. Your children should be able to see you laugh at yourself and laugh with them regarding the joys of life. Don't be afraid relax and enjoy life! Even Father Yahuweh has a sense of humor!
7. Be consistent and make teaching your children scripture a priority! Set aside some part of your morning or evening to study scripture with your children. This is so very important as you will learn along with your children what Yahuweh expect of us as ambassadors, kings, priests and warriors. This will also help them to develop a sound and stable reality and identity in Yahshua which will help them to grow into formidable kingdom warriors. II Timothy 2:15 says, "Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth." Spending quality time by yourself and with your children studying Scripture will stir up in you and them a profound love for Yahuweh and the things of His kingdom as well as provide a firm foundation that will make them confident in their Elohim, Yahuweh!
8. ***BONUS***THIS IS FOR SINGLE PARENTS ONLY! Please do not disqualify yourself as a Believer to your children and anyone else by having a constant stream of boyfriends (moms) or girlfriends (dads)! It can be quite difficult living a chaste life however it is by no means impossible! Your children NEED to see you waiting on Yahuweh for a suitable spouse and partner to help raise them. If you have fallen in this area repent, apologize to your kids if they are aware of the situation and purpose in your heart to be chaste and wait on Yahuweh. Remember, I Corinthians 6:19 says, "Don't you realize that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit (Ruach HaQodesh), who lives in you and was given to you by Yahuweh? You do not belong to yourself". So no matter what the circumstances are around your becoming a single parent, you as a Believer want to perpetuate a lifestyle of purity and chastity to your children. If you are embarrassed to talk to your children about sex because of mistakes that you have made ask Yahuweh to grant you wisdom and peace enough to discuss sexual matters with your children in the context of holiness and Scripture so that they don't feel like they have to get that information from their peers, pop culture or some other entity that may be contrary to the culture of your home.

This is just the beginning of learning to raise formidable, contenders for the Faith, Warriors of Yahshua haMashiach who will gladly and boldly proclaim His name before this wicked generation! The Shema (Hebrew meaning hear and do), Deuteronomy 6:4-9 says, HEAR, O ISRAEL: The LORD our God, the LORD is one. You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your might. And these words that I command you today shall be on your heart. You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, and when you walk by the way, and when you lie down, and when you rise. You shall bind them as a sign on your hand, and they shall be as frontlets between your eyes. You shall write them on the doorposts of your house and on your gates. Never has parenting been more of a challenge and perhaps you are thinking that you didn't "sign up" for this when you became a parent nevertheless you are a parent, you are a Believer and you are mandated to teach your children the ways of Yahuweh by precept and example. The alternative would be to have children who hate Yahuweh because their identity and reality are deeply entrenched in the things of this world. Such children are in danger of losing their souls in this day and age, being made fodder for the enemy and may very well die and go to hell because their parents neglected to teach them the weapons of their warfare. (II Corinthians 10:4) Even if they should stray all you can do is what Yahuweh has mandated for you to do as a parent, the rest is in His hands! 

Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it. Proverbs 22:6

Hanukkah: Rededicating the Temple

Over the past 3 almost 4 years now Yahweh has provided me with the opportunity to know Him more intimately through comprehensive reading and study of His Word.  The journey has not been easy and it has caused me to question many things and caused me to understand that many of the things that I once accepted because they were put into practice and accepted as tradition, long before I was born were in error and actually in opposition to everything that matters to God.  For nearly 4 years, I've been a Torah-believing, Sabbath keeper but the process to get here began in 1995 when I began to question the celebration of pagan holidays. After doing some research, but not a lot, I came to the conclusion that Christmas and Easter were not cool but I still celebrated them because it was what I had always done. About 2000, I became so incensed with the commercialism and materialism of the "holiday" that I believed that there was something sinister about the entire cause for celebration, I had also acquired information that linked Easter and the observance of Lent (which I, as a pentacostal, was raised to observe) was linked to Catholicism. I became increasingly uncomfortable with observing these days as days sacred to the birth, death and resurrection of my Savior, who I then knew as Jesus. I hadn't acknowledged or had ANYTHING to do with Halloween for practically 5 years or more prior to the birth of my daughter in 2002, so I decided a year prior to her birth that my children and I would not participate in Christmas or Easter either as I suspected that they were all linked to paganism. Apparently Christians of various backgrounds and denominations began to ask some of the same questions because Easter Sunday services became known as Resurrection Sunday services and I heard several high-profile preachers and even my own pastor at the time, admit that December 25 was not Jesus' actual birthday but they glossed over the celebration by stating that "no one" knew when He was born and that the church was essentially justified in celebrating December 25 as the birthday of The Messiah. Many of my family members, particularly my mom was not comfortable with my opposition to celebrating these days in the traditional manner in which they had been celebrated for at least a few centuries. Then I got the revelation to study the history of the church and as I got information regarding Constantine changing times and seasons I felt betrayed and deceived by organized Christianity. 

I felt even more incensed and troubled to find that December 25th is the historical birthday of the pagan god, Tammuz aka Mithra aka Nimrod. His mother was Ishtar aka Semiramis aka Columbia and the celebration of Easter is in reference to her as she is known as "The Queen of Heaven" and was worshiped by the Children of Israel in defiance of Yahweh. She is also referred to as the the goddess of fertility hence the presence of rabbits and eggs, which are fertility symbols at Easter. She is also said to be the female counterpart to Lucifer.

The Roman Emperor, Constantine made it law for all Christians to celebrate the 25th of December as the birth of Yeshua and changed the day of the Sabbath from sunset on Friday to sunset on Saturday as it is in scripture to Sunday to cover his worship of the sun god, Tammuz.

The seasons of Easter and Christmas are important to note because they also occur with witches sabbaths this however was done on purpose, by design and not by coincidence.  Christmas is actually the occult sabbath of Saturnalia or Yule. These celebrations have their origins deeply rooted in paganism and the occult but because people have been duped into seeing Yeshua as another greek deity without even knowing it. They will never know or understand these truths because they refuse to accept that Yeshua as the Son of the Living God was a Hebrew, Jewish man when He walked this earth. He didn't have the Bible in it's current inception but He did have Torah and that is what He talked, what He taught, what He lived! Yeshua is the Living Word! He is and was Torah!

In an attempt to distance the Christian church from its Hebrew roots the Anti-semitic Christian church forefathers who preached and taught hatred towards the Hebrew roots of Yeshua as a result people began to see Him as someone other than who He was and is and what He came to accomplish. The church accepted the very paganism and idolatry that Yahweh throughout scripture, made clear that He was opposed to and reverberated throughout scripture that such activity would separate us from Him as they are the very things that caused great terror to come upon The Children of Israel. Ever since the death and resurrection of Yeshua, the collective body of Messiah has been on a journey of progressive revelation. This is the progressive revelation that led the church to reformation to the Azuza Street Revival which brought about the biblical principles that are the foundation for pentacostals and other evangelicals. 

Now in these last days the progressive revelation of Torah as the foundation for a biblically sound lifestyle of holiness has occurred and it has changed my life and the lives of many like me, forever. It has changed the way that I live and has provided a sound and comprehensive foundation from which to teach my children and effectively minister to others  I am excited about my life in Yeshua and as the gentile world enters into another season of spending, debt and false works (doing things in the "spirit of Christmas" and not the Holy Spirit), my family and I will be celebrating Hanukkah. Below is an account that I got from a dear friend and sister in Yeshua, called The Feast of Hanukkah. This provides historical and scriptural context for the celebration of Hanukkah. I would also like to recommend a valuable resource called A Family Guide to Biblical Holidays. This book will provide information regarding the very celebrations that Yeshua celebrated when He walked this planet and why it is important for Believers to celebrate these true holy days! 

 THE FEAST OF HANUKKAH

The true story of Hanukkah is prophesied in Daniel chapter 7 and 8. The fulfillment of this prophecy is found in the First and Second Book of Maccabees, which are found in the writings of the Apocrypha.  Originally the writings of the Apocrypha were additional books of the Bible in the original King James 1611 version, but were later designated as being important historical documents.  Each winter Israelites celebrate the Feast of Dedication - in Hebrew: Hanukkah, the festive occasion in which we recall our deliverance from pagan sun-god worship. Hanukkah is one of the festivals that Yahshua (Jesus) kept (John 10:22-42), but was not one of the mandatory feasts for all Israel to keep at Jerusalem.  Hanukkah reminds us that Yahshua (Jesus) fights for those who would keep themselves pure from the pollutions of idolatry.  Yahshua (Jesus) tells us that the first abomination of desolation (Daniel 8:9, 11:31) placed in the Jerusalem Temple was a prophetic shadow picture of an even greater abomination that would confront the believer in the last days.  The feast of Hanukkah is a prophetic foreshadow of Yahshua (Jesus), his life and his return.  The story of Hanukkah starts with King Antiochus of Syria sending soldiers to a northern city in Israel, Modin.  Antiochus, surname “God manifest”, was called a “madman” by his enemies.  Antiochus was known for defiling the temple with pigs and statues of other gods.  Antiochus specifically place a gold statue in Modin, and his captain declares, “Bow or die!” to the people of Modin.  Mattathias, an 80 yr old Jewish priest with 5 sons, who was still tall and upright, and respected for his wisdom and courage, refused to bow.  Mattathias shouted, “If a man calls a statue God, does that make it God?”  Everyone was silent in Morin.  The captain responds, “You priest, you bow first.”  Mattathias turned away.  The captain approaches him, “Obey or be hanged!”  Mattathias turns eye to eye with the captain and says sternly, “I will never bow.”  Everyone in Modin stood silent for a few minutes.  A scared shopkeeper comes forward, “I’ll do it and bows.”  Mattathias punches the shopkeeper, and knocks him on his back.  All of Modin became scared for their lives.  Mattathias pulls out a knife, stabs the captain, and slams down the golden statue. Mattathias sceams, “Whoever is for God (YHWH), follow me?”  Mattathias, his sons, and a handful of men and boys ran for the hills.  The newly found rebels outran the soldiers who were on foot and horses.  Mattathias and the rebels hid in caves, and only came out at night.  Eventually, Mattathias dies, and blesses Judah to lead the rebels.  The rebels gradually grew, and became constantly struck hard against Antiochus’s soldiers nightly.  They became mighty men even with only a small number of men.  Due to the constant hard strikes, Judah began to be called the Maccabee, meaning “the hammer”.  Judah and all the rebels became known as the Maccabees.  For 3 years, the small number of Maccabees defeated thousands of Syrians.  King Antiochus is angered by the losses and sends a very large force.  The Maccabee soldiers began to fear, but Judah delivers a word from the Lord that gives them faith.  The Maccabees praise God (Elohim), and begin to blow trumpets.  The thunderous praise leads the Maccabees to victory over the Syrians.  With the loss of such a large army, the King is outraged, and sends 47,000 to crush the revolt.  As the gigantic army chased the Maccabees into the forest, the Maccabees turned back to fight and one a mighty victory.  The war was officially over!  The first order of service after the victory was to cleanse the temple of pagan rituals and statues.  The meaning of the Hanukkah story is about the removal of paganism, and the traditions of men.  Hanukkah is a yearly reminder to only bow to Jesus and his Holy Spirit, and not to man or your flesh.

 The pope, and many other preachers have banned the use of the Hebrew name of God (YHWH), just as Antiochus did to the Jews, and we will be standing against that band.  We will be tearing down the traditions of men that make the word of God (Elohim) of none effect, and rebuilding the traditions of God (Elohim).  People will be set free from being bound to the laws of men, so that they can freely follow God (YHWH).  As men and women quit bowing to the false religious rules of men, the Holy Spirit will be turning the hearts of the sons toward the Father, and the heart of the Father towards the sons.  

1 Corinthians 6:19–20

19 Don’t you realize that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit, who lives in you and was given to you by God? You do not belong to yourself, 20 for God bought you with a high price. So you must honor God with your body.(NLT)

Rededicate your temple to Yahweh!

Please do your own research from a truly historical and biblical perspective, consider your sources and understand that true history corroborates the Word of God as fact. Keep in mind that the man you have known as Jesus was known to the people of His time as Yeshua, as that is His Hebrew name. He was Hebrew and He was certainly a Jew. When you understand this, it'll fill in all of the empty spaces and will even provide answers to many questions instead of the vague, obtuse explanation of "it's the way we've always done things".

More than that your children and their children need to know who He truly is! Stop using your children as an excuse to continue celebrating a pagan tradition. Christmas is NOT for the children! Christmas is NOT for Believers in Yeshua HaMaschiach!

Yahweh, God of The Universe - God of the Bible vs. Your Concept of God

As I was driving today, alone in my car, I began to pray, praise and thank God. As I was praying Yahweh placed a strong conviction in me and let me know that the sure way to establish a relationship with Him is through a lifestyle of integrity, humility and self-deprecation. This is a lifestyle that many Believers have resisted. Due to the overwhelming influence of false doctrine (i.e., prosperity preaching, word of faith doctrine, infiltration of new age philosophies and doctrines) most Believers live and behave with all of the flagrant hubris of the Pharisees and other religious leaders in Yeshua's day.  

They are under the erroneous misconception that they have IT and HIM all figured out! They can't be told anything and they are not willing to be taught of the Holy Spirit anything that will bring about revelation, vision and perpetuate true growth. What is the "IT" I am referring to? Salvation and the HIM that I am referring to is none other than Father God, Yahweh, the God of the Bible. They refuse to truly read the Bible from cover to cover as the comprehensive, inerrant word of God so many "Believers" say that they believe in God and that they are saved but could it be that the God that they are worshiping is not the God of the Bible but rather some false God that they have conceptualized in their heads? Is your God the God of the Bible or an amalgamation of a "patchwork quilt" of scripture taken out of context, sprinkled with a little bit of the "god" that the celebrity, televangelist has verbally painted as an image of God as some hippy-looking dude who is basically nothing more than a glorified Santa Claus? Is your "god" like some new age guru who allows you to be your own god? Is your "god" required to pander to the frivolous whims of your flesh in order for him to be real to you? Romans 1:21 says, "Yes, they knew God, but they wouldn't worship Him as God or even give Him thanks. And they began to think up foolish ideas of what God was like. As a result, their minds became dark and confused." I am certain that this is the reason why so many people who claim to be Believers are confused and 1 Corinthians 14:33 tells us plainly, "For God is not a God of confusion but of peace, as in all the meetings of God's holy people." So many are worshiping a "god" and are erroneously convinced that they are worshiping the God of the Bible. I'll give you a few examples, the "god" that exist in the heads of most of these "Believers" doesn't mind if they gossip, lie, bear false witness and covet because "he" knows their hearts so it's okay; their "god" doesn't mind if they commit fornication or adultery every now and again because "he's" the one who gave them the desire for sex and "he" understands that they can't control themselves; their "god" doesn't mind if they don't honor the Sabbath because their "god" has rendered the law obsolete instead of fulfilling it; their "god" doesn't mind them participating in pagan celebrations, "he" doesn't mind if they watch garbage on TV or go to the movies to visually consume filth, "he" doesn't mind if they listen to vulgar and obscene secular music; their "god" doesn't mind if they pander to instead of witness to sinners and people in false religions and doctrines; their "god" doesn't mind them raising their children as the heathens and pagans do; their "god" has saved them and other Christians to replace Jewish people instead of saving them so that they can live dedicated lives of holiness to provoke them to jealousy for Yahweh (Read Romans 11:18 and 11:24) and the list goes on and on! There is scripture to support Yahweh's profound disdain for all of these things and yet because of our deceptive culture of the "carnal Christian" because it's not good to be so heavenly minded that you are no earthly good, people have erected an idol in their imaginations and have named "him" God, little understanding that their false perception of God is every bit as futile to them as any idol god made of wood, stone, or metal. 

And the result is still the same, when we make the mistake of trying to make God fit our perception of who we think or believe He should be, we are not worshiping Him for who He is and we are not worshiping Him for who He says He is in the Bible nor are we being obedient to what He requires of us, how can we do that and say that we love Him? That is the sure fire road to hell, my friend!  Yahweh has not changed and we are urged in Galatians 1:8, "But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel to you than that which we have preached to you, let him be accursed." Hebrews 13:8 says, "Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever." God hasn't changed and if the Children of Israel faced judgment because of their arrogance, pride, and idolatry what makes you think that He won't require the same of the Church that was grafted in? (Romans 11:17 - And if some of the branches be broken off, and you, being a wild olive tree, were grafted in among them, and with them partake of the root and fatness of the olive tree;)

It is important for Believers to check themselves! If you don't have the structure and foundation of Yahweh's commandments along with the instruction of the Ruach HaKodesh (Holy Spirit), then you are stifling, grieving and quenching the Holy Spirit who was sent to be your Paraclete, your Teacher! I challenge you to read the Torah (first five books of the Bible) as well as the prophets. Please read the Gospels and the epistles and see what God has to say about paganism, idolatry (of any kind), lying, sexual immorality (of every kind), coveteousness, etc. Don't take anyone's word as fact regarding these matters that are concerning your very own soul but only accept God's word because contrary to what some people who probably have never read a Bible believe, it is THE TRUTH and it is FACT! The only thing that will save many who truly want to know Yeshua in these last days is a willingness to humble yourself, pray, seek God and READ and study His word so that you can rightly divide the word of truth (2 Timothy 2:15).

I pray that this post will save someone's life and cause them to commit to Messiah so that their souls will be saved and lives changed forever. Fall back and let God be who He says He is! We only see our little finite portion of the picture but Abba sees it all from beginning to end! He is holy and He is sovereign and He has provided a gift to us that has even caused the angels to marvel. (1 Peter 1:10-12 - ¹⁰ This salvation was something even the prophets wanted to know more about when they prophesied about this gracious salvation prepared for you. ¹¹ They wondered what time or situation the Spirit of Christ within them was talking about when he told them in advance about Christ’s suffering and his great glory afterward.
 ¹² They were told that their messages were not for themselves, but for you. And now this Good News has been announced to you by those who preached in the power of the Holy Spirit sent from heaven. It is all so wonderful that even the angels are eagerly watching these things happen.)

Holiness and the process of sanctification is a life long journey NOT a destination therefore no one has the right to behave as if they have it all figured out and have arrived! The Pharisees and religious leaders of Yeshua's time here on earth thought they had it all figured out and they missed Yeshua on account of their wicked, prideful hearts and many are still missing Him today because the exact same wicked arrogance. Luke 5:32 Yeshua told them, "I have come to call not those who think they are righteous, but those who know they are sinners and need to repent." Please clarify today, which "god" you are serving because you can't serve Yahweh based on your carnal perception and assumptions, His word tells you who He is and what He requires and desires of us. Who He truly is may not bode well at all with our carnal motivations, proclivities and silly notions and by design our flesh recoils at His requirements but that is what He is suppose to do because He is a holy, sovereign God of the universe. Everything about Him brings discomfort to our filthy, depraved and deceitful flesh which is why we are called upon to die daily. It's not about you, it never was! It's about the will of Yahweh! He is all that matters and as we honor Him, He will honor us!

Believers Should Strongly Consider Family Television Viewing Habits

A 2007 study on children's television viewing concluded that more than two hours of television viewing can be detrimental to both the physical, mental and emotional health of a child. This secular study has been cited a lot recently and if this is the conclusion drawn by secular experts, how much more should Believers monitor and limit their children's access to television viewing of all kinds. As Believers, I cannot stress enough how important it is for US to groom, disciple, and minister to our children. In fact, as Believers our first ministry is to our immediate families which includes spouses and children before anyone else. This is primarily the case because when we minister and disciple the people closest to us and to whom we have the greatest influence, it holds us to a higher level of accountability and transparency. As parents we must keep in mind that we will be held accountable for how we raise the children that God has given us on loan. We are simply stewards, we are not our children's owners. That's an important factor to keep in the forefront of our minds because if we are allowing media, pop culture and other influences to mold, shape and influence our children away from Yeshua, then we are going to answer to God for failing to allow His Word to be the prominent influence in our lives and in the lives of our children.  It's not "just television", "just a movie", "just a song" when it's subversive to the Biblical values that you claim to have submitted yourself to when you gave your life to Messiah. Many of today's movies, music, and television shows (even books!) are thick with occult and esoteric symbolism and themes. The intent is to indoctrinate your children with ideologies that are counterproductive to the lifestyle of a Believer. I have covered this same subject matter in several previous posts and I don't feel as if I can reiterate it enough because your children are going to try you, they're going to challenge you, they're going to rebel a little but when you allow this filthy, ungodly culture to subvert the Holy Spirit's authority in your home then you are in jeopardy of losing your precious children to this world. You are setting up your children to be deceived by the pending government and religion of the Anti-christ and you will have to answer for all of those things! Believers should not allow Disney, Nickolodeon, PBS, BET, MTV, VH1 or any other media entity to babysit your children. In the coming months, I will be posting tips on how Believers should disciple and minister to their children. It forces you to be a REAL parent and not a parent on auto-pilot who leaves the difficult aspects of your children's rearing to someone or something else. But be encouraged, as a Believer you are not alone, you have the Holy Spirit to grant you vision and knowledge on behalf of your children so that you can "Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it." (Proverbs 22:6)

Why The Grace of God Is Not Permission To Sin

People often depict the grace of God or the fact that we are currently living under grace and truth as a carte blanche invitation to sin. As if Messiah's suffering, death, burial and resurrection means that the law is therefore now void and antiquated and unnecessary. First let me say, that every kingdom has laws and the kingdom of God is no different. Without law there is only anarchy and anarchy is not of God but of Satan. The suffering, death, burial and resurrection of Messiah was never intended to render the laws of God's kingdom obsolete. Instead the grace of Elohim exists before we even sin and provides for us the opportunity not to sin in the first place but if we we're to sin, we still have the avenue of repentance once we realize and confess our accountability for the sin that we commit. Grace exists so that we are empowered through the habitation or indwelling of the Holy Spirit not to sin in the first place. The grace of God gives us the ability to obey the laws of God rather than providing for us an opportunity to explain just how "human" we are by submitting to this flesh and sinning. The law was considered bondage because there was no way for us in our human frailty to fulfill the law but it is through God's grace and the indwelling of the Holy Spirit that we are able to abide by God's laws not to be idolatrous, liars, cheaters, murderers, fornicators, adulterers, etc. We cannot afford to take for granted that just because the grace of God exists that we then have the freedom to sin without repercussions. When we sin, even after we repent, that is a seed sown and a harvest that will be reaped. The grace of God helps us to refrain from sowing seeds that we are not willing to reap through sin. We will always reap what we have sown but repentance and the grace of God determines to what extent we will reap what we have sown. Although some people think that we cannot "out sin" God's grace as it is infinite, God's grace is abundant and infinite in that it will keep us from sinning in the first place as we submit to the Holy Spirit and conform to the image of Messiah. We cannot keep gossipping, backbiting, lying, cheating, etc. after the Holy Spirit convicts us, override the conviction, make excuses and justifications for our sin and then expect that the grace of God will keep us saved. When we disobey God, we put ourselves in the precarious position of removing His covering (His grace) from ourselves when we willfully and overtly sin. Yeshua came to fulfill the law not make it obsolete! So Believers need to stop the erroneous teaching of grace and truth as the coverall for sin. When you fulfill a task, you have completed it not made the task obsolete. When a man fulfills his wife, he has completed her not done away with her. MESSIAH FULFILLED THE LAW SO THAT WE WOULD BE FREE FROM COMMITTING SIN IN THE FIRST PLACE NOT SO THAT WE CAN WILLFULLY SIN, OVERRIDE HIS CONVICTION AND MAKE LAME EXCUSES FOR OUR SIN AND THEN EXPECT THAT GOD WILL ALLOW THE SACRIFICE OF HIS SON TO BE REPEATEDLY VIOLATED AND TROUNCED UPON. HABITUAL SIN IS REFUSING GOD'S GRACE. WE DON'T HAVE TO SIN! THAT'S THE GOOD NEWS!
THE GRACE OF GOD EMPOWERS US TO OVERRIDE OUR SIN NATURE SO THAT WE ARE NOT A SLAVE TO IT! 

Using grace as if it will cover willful, habitual sin is to live without reverential fear of God and without reverential fear of God, we rebel against Him and disobey His laws consistently and jeopardize our souls. We enslave ourselves to our flesh and sentence ourselves to a life of mediocrity not to mention living as a carnal Christian who never matures spiritually and actually puts themselves in jeopardy of becoming a spiritual reprobate. Grace is not permission to sin! Grace is submission to the process of sanctification so that we are holy. Grace is the power, that only God can give us through the Blood of Jesus and the indwelling of His spirit not to sin! We are to die daily and submit to the Holy Spirit so that we can conform to the image of Messiah not continue sinning as if we have no help or hope!
